• 40 g red peppers
• 40 g yellow peppers
• 1/4th tsp. paprika
• 1/4th tsp. cumin seeds
• pinch of cayenne
• 1/2 clove of garlic
• 1/4 onion
• 250 g tomatoes (canned, chopped)
• 1 egg
• 20 g feta cheese
• fresh coriander garnish
• fresh parsley garnish
• salt
• pepper
• olive oil for sautéing

Shakshuka Bowl

1. Cut onion and peppers into thin strips. Mince garlic finely and herbs coarsely. Add some oil to a large frying pan and sauté the onion, peppers and garlic at medium heat for about 5 min.

2. Add chopped tomatoes, paprika, cumin seed and cayenne and simmer for another 5 min. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Put in a serving bowl and make a trough in the middle. Add the egg in the trough and sprinkle crumbled feta over it. Then put in the microwave at 600 watts for about 3 - 5 min. or until the egg is cooked. Garnish with fresh coriander and parsley. Enjoy!
