Ingredients

Preparation time: about 20 minutes
• 2 pears
• Juice of one lemon
• 20 g butter
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• tablespoon poppy seed
• 2 sprigs of mint

Grilled Pear with Poppy Seed Sugar

Directions:

1. Slice pears in half and spoon out the core, then dribble with lemon juice.

2. Place the pear halves, with skin, on a hot grill for about 5 minutes. Then turn and grill another 5 minutes.

3. Remove pears from grill and place a knife-tip of butter into the core hollow.

4. Mix sugar and poppy seed and sprinkle on pears. Garnish with mint and serve.
